Hi everyone!

You may be wondering what motivated me to develop this Yoga Notes blog?

Like many of you, I’ve often left a yoga class with a question (or two) about a technique or pose that I wished I’d asked the teacher to further explain.

Like you, I’ve told myself that I would ask the question in the next class, but I’d forget. And the cycle would repeat.

Similarly, as a yoga teacher, there has often been yoga “takeaways”  –  a pose, technique, cue, and/or focal point – I wish my students could readily access outside the studio to inspire and enhance their yoga practice.

This website offers me a wonderful opportunity to address these two concerns:

  • by better meeting your needs as yoga practitioners in a format you can access 24/7
  • by meeting my desires as a yoga educator to offer you useful, revelent resources you can use for developing a more consistent, methodical, and efficient yoga practice that will benefit you over time.

Here you’ll find blog posts, video tutorials, and short practice sequences that utilize my in-person studio classes as inspiration and direction.

I hope you will join my community of yoga practitioners.

See my about me page for more information on my approach to yoga education and practice.
