Stephanie Britton and I are holding a Yoga & Hike event next month (August 2025). Watch the video for location and time information.

Bring your friends. The event is open to all experience levels; no prior yoga or hiking experience is required.

The suggested donation is $5 (five dollars), but not required for participation.

Choose how you participate: You may choose to participate in both the yoga class and the hike; you may choose to only participate in the yoga class or the hike. No worries.

We will be practicing a hatha-based yoga sequence. These sequences are typically practiced more slowly and with more static holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class.

We will be doing a ~2-hour hike. While we’ll be taking a different entrance, here’s some information on the trail.

As we get closer to the event,we’ll provide additional information, such as where we’ll meet, how to register, etc.

The Fine Print

To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone, we’re asking everyone to follow these rules:

1. Every participant will be required to fill out a waiver form prior to participating in the event.

2. Participation in the event is limited to people 10+ years and older.

3. Food and drink will not be provided. Please bring your own.

4. If you’re participating in the yoga class, please bring your own yoga gear (mat and towel). Sorry, we are not providing any gear.

5. If you’re participating in the hike, please wear hiking type gear. No open toe shoes or sandals, for instance, should be worn. Hats and sunscreen are good ideas. Water is a must.

6. Have fun. Our goal here is bringing people together and to share our love of yoga, hiking, and the outdoors.
